This is a reminder that this state has a long list of cities with great nursing homes. The best part of Cape May's impressive report card is its nursing homes' inspection ratings. Inspection reports are discussed in the next section
On top of having excellent nursing homes on the whole, this place really excelled in the area of inspections, where it received an A+. Very few cities fared this well in this area. Arguably the most significant factor we look at in determining our inspection scores is deficiencies. These deficiencies can be found on a facility's recent inspection reports. Facilities with higher scores in this category most likely avoided the more severe deficiencies involving things like patient abuse. Cape May performed spectacularly well in the area of long-term care as well. Consequently, the city received an A in that category. Rounding out its profile, the city received a grade of B+ for its short-term care grade and a grade of B in the area of nursing. We really found this city to be competent in every category.
