We looked at the only nursing home in Peachtree City, Georgia. This facility was awarded an overall grade of B, which is a perfectly respectable score. We also looked at the facilities in the nearby city of Riverdale. With Riverdale receiving a terrible city grade, we found the facility in Peachtree City to be in a totally different league than most of the nursing homes in Riverdale. The best aspect of this nursing home's strong profile is its inspection rating. We discuss inspections in the next paragraph
In addition to performing well in its overall grade, this city's only nursing home performed remarkably well in the area of inspections. In fact, it received a nearly flawless inspection report this year. As a result, we awarded it one of our best grades in that area with an A+. We weigh several aspects of a nursing home's inspection report in determining these inspection scores. One critical factor is deficiencies. You should keep in mind that the severity of deficiencies is arguably more important than the quantity of deficiencies, as some deficiencies can be relatively minor. This nursing home also received an impressive long-term care grade. We gave it a B in that area. In the last two categories, we gave Peachtree City a grade of B- for its short-term care rating and a C in the area of nursing.
