With just two nursing homes in the city, you only have a couple of options in Buchanan, Georgia. This city received a city grade of C for an overall score. This is not a strong city score. This grade is not the end of the world, but it is definitely below average by national standards. One of the major highlights of this city's report card is its stellar inspection grade, which is addressed in the next section.
This city received a somewhat average overall grade, however, we really wanted to emphasize that some of the nursing homes in the city nearly flawless health inspections in recent years. We awarded it an elite grade of A in this category. We weigh several aspects of a nursing home's inspection report in determining these inspection scores. One key factor is deficiencies. It should be noted that the severity of these deficiencies is arguably more meaningful than the number of deficiencies, as some of these end up being quite minor. In addition, the city earned a B+ for the city's long-term care rating. In the last two categories, we awarded the city rock bottom grades for our short-term care and nursing categories respectively.
