In addition to receiving a strong overall grade, this city's lone nursing home performed spectacularly well in our inspection category. In fact, we awarded it a grade of A for that category, which is one of our highest scores. We take several aspects of a facility's inspection report into consideration in computing our inspection scores. One key factor is deficiencies. It should be noted that the severity of these deficiencies is usually more meaningful than the number of deficiencies, as some of these can be relatively insignificant. We also gave this city an A- for our short-term care rating. Rounding out its report card, the city earned strong grades for our nursing and long-term care categories as well.
