With a population of 16,457 , Lake Geneva, Wisconsin is a relatively small city. There are just 2 nursing homes in the city, which does not give you too many options. The nursing homes in this city received a phenomenal city grade of A-. Even with just a couple of nursing homes, this is still quite an accomplishment. For comparison's sake, we also looked at the facilities in the nearby city of Racine, which received a city grade of B. As impressed as we were with the nursing homes in Racine, we found Lake Geneva to be on a whole other level. On top of this, Lake Geneva is one of the twenty five highest rated cities in the state of Wisconsin. This datapoint is a reminder that this state has plenty of cities with high quality facilities.
In addition to performing well in its overall grade, this city performed especially well in long-term care. The city received one of our best grades in that area with a grade of A. Long-term care scores in this range generally require both 24/7 care from nurses and aids, as well as quality routine medical care. In addition, Lake Geneva also really excelled in the area of inspections, where we gave it an A. Very few cities fared this well in this category.
