There are two nursing homes in Chillicothe, Ohio, which at least gives you a few options to choose from. Despite not having a ton of nursing homes, this city received an excellent city grade of A-. By way of comparison, we awarded the facilities in the nearby city of Lancaster a city grade of F, which is a very poor grade. Naturally, we found the nursing homes in Chillicothe to be rated much higher than the ones in Lancaster. On top of this, this city has the distinction of being one of the top three rated cities in the state of Ohio.
As mentioned above, this city's nursing homes received a great overall grade, but we also wanted to point out that we gave Chillicothe an impressive grade of A in the area of short-term care. With a short-term care score this high we would expect many of the nursing homes here to a high functioning physical therapy and rehabilitation program. In addition, the city performed spectacularly well in terms of its inspection grade as well. In fact, some of the nursing homes in the city received almost perfect inspection reports this year. Consequently, we awarded Chillicothe an A in this category. Wrapping up its profile, the city received a grade of A- in our nursing category and a grade of C in long-term care. Outside of its long-term care rating, this place's other grades were remarkably strong.
