Nevertheless, we found this facility in Gulf Breeze to be in a totally different league than the ones in Fort Walton Beach. Finally, Gulf Breeze is also one of the 250 best cities in the entire country.
In addition to being an excellent facility overall, this city's nursing home really excelled in the category of inspections, where we gave it an A+. Not many nursing homes performed better in this category. Arguably the most important factor we consider in computing our inspection grades is deficiencies. Deficiencies can be found on a facility's inspection reports. Nursing homes with better grades in this category typically avoided the more severe deficiencies involving patient abuse or death. This facility also performed especially well in our nursing category. In fact, it earned an A. Rounding out its impressive profile, the city earned favorable grades for our long-term care and short-term care categories as well.
