With a population of 167,094 residents, Olympia, Washington is one of is a fairly large city. Surprisingly, there are only 3 nursing homes there, which is not as many as we expected in a city of this size. The limited supply of nursing homes here received a quality city grade of B. We also looked at the nursing homes in the nearby city of Kent. We found the facilities in Olympia to be in a totally different league than the ones in Kent. This city's report card was also very consistent as it did not receive a single weak category grade either. You can learn more about these in the next paragraph.
On top of performing well overall, we gave Olympia one of our higher scores in our nursing rating where it received a grade of B+. High end scores in this category usually mean the city's facilities have favorable nurse staffing levels. Olympia earned a B+ for our short-term care category. Lastly, this place earned middle of the road grades for our inspections and long-term care areas respectively.
