There are four nursing homes in Brenham, Texas, which at least gives you a few choices. This city received an abysmal overall grade, however, we wanted to point out its nursing homes' strong health inspections the past few years. We awarded Brenham a B in this area. Perhaps the most important factor we look at in computing our inspection scores is deficiencies. Deficiencies are found on a nursing home's recent inspection reports. It is generally in your best interest to avoid facilities that had a long list of deficiencies. We also wanted to point out that we awarded the city a grade of C in our short-term care category. Finally, Brenham were awarded a C for its nursing grade and a grade of D in long-term care. Despite otherwise respectable category grades, this city's poor long-term care rating may be a problem for many prospective residents.
