There is just one nursing home located in Angleton, Texas, providing for a relatively small population of 30,309 people. Sadly, this nursing home did not fare well in our assessment. We awarded it a grade of D, which is a very poor score. This grade is about as bad as it gets and certainly raises some major red flags. We don't have too many positive things to say about this nursing home, but it did receive a surprisingly impressive inspection grade. You can continue reading to learn more about this.
While its overall score was abysmal, we awarded this city's nursing home a B+ for our inspections rating. This category obviously is not the source of this nursing home's concerning overall grade. Inspection scores are based on pieces of information located in the a nursing home's recent inspection reports. Deficiencies are an important thing to look for on these inspections. Most importantly, you should avoid facilities with severe deficiencies associated with endangerment of patients. Angleton's second best category was its short-term care rating, where we gave it a C. In the other categories we looked at, the city earned a C for its long-term care grade and a grade of F for nursing. Although we found the rest of its profile to be decent, this low nursing score isn't a great sign for nursing staffing levels.
