We discuss inspections in the next paragraph
This city's nursing homes received a great overall grade, but we also wanted to point out that some of its nursing homes received almost flawless health inspections in recent years. We gave Sumter an impressive grade of A- for this category. We weigh several aspects of a nursing home's inspection report in determining our inspection ratings. One of those factors is deficiencies. It should be noted that the severity of these deficiencies is usually more meaningful than the number of deficiencies, as some are relatively insignificant. In addition, the city also received strong long-term care score where it received a B+ in this category. Wrapping up its quality report card, this place earned a B for nursing and a B in short-term care. We found this city to be competent in each category we assessed.
