There are two facilities in Biddeford, Maine, so at least you have a few options to choose from. The nursing homes in this city received an excellent city grade of A-. Even with just a couple of facilities, this is still quite an achievement. For comparison's sake, we also looked at the facilities in the nearby city of Haverhill, which received a city grade of B+. As impressed as we were with the nursing homes in Haverhill, we found Biddeford to be rated even higher. Finally, this city has the distinction of being one of the top ten rated cities in all of Maine.
In addition to having excellent nursing homes on the whole, this place really excelled in our nursing category where we gave it a grade of A+. Very few cities fared this well in this category. With a nursing grade in this range we would expect the majority of the nursing homes this city to have a high functioning nursing staff. In addition, we also awarded this city a grade of A in our short-term care category. Wrapping up its straight A report card, we gave the city top notch grades for our long-term care and inspections categories respectively.
