Mansfield, Louisiana has just two nursing homes to choose from, which is not a ton of options. We gave this city a solid city grade of B- for an overall score. This is comparable with most of the places in the nation. One of the major highlights of this place's report card is its exemplary inspection score, which we will address in the next section.
Despite receiving a somewhat average overall grade, this city performed especially well in our inspections category. In fact, some of its facilities received virtually perfect inspection reports this year. As a result, we awarded Mansfield one of our best scores in that area with an A+. Inspection scores are based on several datapoints located in the a nursing home's recent inspection reports. Nursing homes that receive favorable grades in this category typically have few deficiencies on those reports. Most importantly, these nursing homes should not have any severe deficiencies which are associated with endangerment of patients. Mansfield also fared well in the category of health long-term care with a B+. Finally, the city received abysmal grades in our nursing and short-term care areas respectively.
