Oroville, California is a small city with 51,027 people. The city has only one nursing home, which is fewer than we were hoping for. We were relieved to discover that its only nursing home received a very good overall grade of B+. For comparison's sake, we also assessed the nursing homes in the nearby city of Roseville. We found the nursing home in Oroville to be a bit better than most of the nursing homes in Roseville. The best part of this nursing home's strong report card is its nursing grade. This city's only nursing home received a great overall grade, but we gave it an impressive grade of A+ in nursing. The nursing score analyzes a handful of datapoints, however, the primary one is the number of nurse hours spent with patients. This facility also received one of our higher grades in our short-term care category, where it earned a grade of B+. Lastly, Oroville earned a B for its long-term care rating and a B- in the area of inspections.
