In addition to being a quality facility overall, this facility really fared well in the area of long-term care, where it received an A. Few facilities performed better in this category. Nursing homes that receive this kind of grade in this category typically provide consistent 24/7 care to ensure patients are well cared for. Once we looked at the quantity of care provided by aids and other staff, we then looked at the nursing home's vaccination data. This nursing home vaccinated 97.89474 percent of its residents for pneumonia. Vaccines are critical to keeping residents out of the hospital. Clearly, this facility is doing something right in this area as it also excelled at keeping its patients out of the hospital. In fact, it had only 0.02 hospitalizations per one thousand long-term resident days, which is an impressively low figure.

This facility also excelled in inspections. In fact, we awarded it an A for that category, which is one of our best grades. This is one of the few facilities with an overall grade in this range which received multiple category grades this high. Our inspection ratings are based on many datapoints located in the a nursing home's recent inspection reports. Nursing homes that receive favorable grades in this category have very few deficiencies on their reports. Most importantly, these nursing homes should not have any severe deficiencies which are associated with endangerment of patients. This particular nursing home had just a single deficiency on its inspection report and it was not one deemed to pose a threat to patient health or safety. Finally, this facility had no substantiated complaints this year from residents, which is an excellent sign.

Lastly, we assessed the percentage of patients that ultimately were able to return home from this facility. We found that 5.6 percent of this facility's residents returned home.

The final area we looked at was nursing. We gave this nursing home a decent score in this category, with a grade of B-. While this isn't as high as several of its other grades, it is still not the end of the world. Our nursing grade assesses the nursing home's nurse staffing levels.
