On top of performing well overall, this facility received even higher grades for short-term care. It earned one of our highest grades in that area with an A. Our short-term care ratings are considered to be most meaningful for patients needing a nursing home for rehabilitation. Rehabilitation generally mandates more highly-skilled nursing. Skilled nursing means not merely nursing services, but also physical and respiratory therapy, as well as other variations of therapy. Fortunately, it looks like this facility employs registered nurses. Not all facilities employs these skilled professionals. On the other hand, based on the data they provided, they do not appear to employ physical therapists.
