Fremont, Michigan has only two nursing homes to choose from, so you have relatively limited options. We gave this city a city grade of C based on the quality of its nursing homes. This is not a strong city grade. For comparison's sake, we also assessed the facilities in the nearby city of Hudsonville. While we aren't raving about either city, we found the nursing homes in Fremont to be a better bet. One of the better aspects of this place's report card is its nursing homes' impressive short-term care scores, which is addressed in the following paragraph.
We wanted to note that this city's nursing grade outpaced its overall grade. In fact, we awarded Fremont a B+ in this category, which is one of our better scores. Short-term care grades of this caliber are a favorable sign for the physical and occupational therapy staffing levels at the facilities in a city. In addition, the city received quality inspection reports this year as well, receiving a B in this category. Wrapping up its report card, Fremont received grades of B and F for our nursing and long-term care areas respectively. In spite of an otherwise impressive performance, this place's poor short-term care grade could be concerning for many people.
