While this place didn't have a ton of nursing homes, this city received a superb city grade of A. For comparison's sake, we also assessed the facilities in the nearby city of Lewiston, which which also appears to be a strong option. However, we found the facilities in South Paris to be even better than the ones in Lewiston. Headlining this place's exemplary report card is its inspection score, which we will address in the next section.
This city received a strong overall grade, but we also wanted to point out that some of the city's facilities received almost flawless health inspections the past few years. We gave South Paris an elite grade of A+ in this category. Arguably the most significant factor we consider in determining our inspection ratings is deficiencies. These deficiencies can be found on a nursing home's recent inspection reports. Places with better scores in this category most likely dodged the more severe deficiencies involving patient abuse or death. In addition, the city also really excelled in the area of nursing, where we gave it an A. Wrapping up its straight A profile, the city received an A for long-term care and an A for short-term care.
