With just two nursing homes in the city, there are only a couple of choices in Clarinda, Iowa. While this place didn't have a ton of nursing homes, this city received a phenomenal city grade of A-. We were so impressed with Clarinda that we ranked it as one of the fifteen highest rated cities in all of Iowa. This city's impressive profile was highlighted by its nursing homes' inspection reports, which we will address in the next paragraph.

Nursing homes with higher scores in this category most likely dodged the most severe deficiencies involving health risks or even death. Clarinda also really excelled in the category of nursing, where we gave it an A-. Rounding out its impressive profile, Clarinda received a grade of B+ in our long-term care category and a B in the area of short-term care. We found Clarinda to be very competent everywhere we looked.
