There is only one nursing home in Urbana, Illinois. We were relieved to discover that, this city's only nursing home received a strong grade of B+, so at least there is one quality option. This city has the prestigious distinction of being the thirteenth best city in all of Illinois according to our ratings. Although this looks like a fine option, we wouldn't blame you if you want to explore nursing homes in other cities.
In addition to performing well in its overall grade, this city's sole nursing home performed extremely well in our short-term care category. In fact, we awarded it one of our best ratings in that area with a grade of A+. In determining our short-term care scores, we assess a facility's levels of skilled nursing services, which includes registered nurses, physical therapists respiratory therapists and other licensed professionals. This category is more often than not a useful measure of a facility's rehabilitation services. This place also performed remarkably well in the area of nursing. In fact, it received a grade of A. Rounding out its report card, Urbana received grades of A- and D for our inspections and long-term care categories respectively. Outside of its terrible long-term care grade, this place's other three grades were remarkably strong.
