We looked at the only nursing home in Champaign, Illinois. Sadly, this nursing home didn't fare well in our assessment. We awarded it a grade of F, which is an abysmal score. This grade is rock bottom by national standards. We would not blame you if you are ready to stop reading and find another facility. Nevertheless, if you want to learn more about this facility's category grades, short-term care and other areas are discussed in the next section.
We were not able to award this city's sole nursing home any respectable category grades. We especially wanted to point out that it received an F for its short-term care score. In calculating our short-term care ratings, we assess the nursing home's skilled nursing services, including those performed by registered nurses, occupational therapists, physical therapists and other types of skilled professionals. The objective is to create a barometer for comparing the rehabilitation services of various facilities. Turning the page to the area of inspections, this city received an F. Grades in this range point to some red flags on many of its facilities' government inspection reports. In our final two categories, we awarded the city rock bottom grades for our long-term care and nursing categories respectively.
