To go along with its strong overall grade, we awarded Lake City an A- in our inspections category. Perhaps the most critical factor we look at in determining our inspection scores is deficiencies. Deficiencies are found on a nursing home's recent inspection reports. Facilities with higher grades in this area typically avoided the more severe deficiencies involving health risks or even death. In addition, the city performed especially well in the category of long-term care as well. As a result, the city received an A- in this category. Wrapping up its report card, this place received a grade of B for its nursing score and a B for short-term care. We truly found this place to be very competent in each category we assessed.
