Russellville, Arkansas offers just three nursing homes to choose from, which is not a ton of options. While it only has a couple of nursing homes, this city received a phenomenal city grade of A-. In fact, this city's city grade far surpassed the city grade of nursing homes in the nearby city of Hot Springs. While there is nothing wrong with this grade, we found Russellville to be in a totally different league. In addition to performing well in its overall grade, many of the facilities in Russellville performed extremely well in the category of inspections. In fact, some of its facilities received nearly perfect inspection reports this year. Consequently, the city received one of our highest scores in that area with an A-. We take several aspects of a facility's inspection report into consideration in computing these inspection grades. One of those factors is deficiencies. It should be noted that the severity of the deficiencies is arguably more important than the number of deficiencies, as some of these can be quite minor. The city performed spectacularly well in the category of long-term care as well. Consequently, it received an A- in that area. Wrapping up its excellent profile, this place earned a grade of A- in our nursing category and a B+ for short-term care.
