Facility Inspections

Grade: A-plus

To go along with its strong overall grade, we awarded this nursing home a grade of A+ for our inspections rating. We weigh several aspects of a nursing home's inspection report in calculating these inspection grades. One critical factor is health deficiencies. You should keep in mind that the severity of the deficiencies is arguably more meaningful than the number of deficiencies, as some deficiencies are relatively insignificant. This particular nursing home had just a single deficiency on its inspection report and it was not one deemed to pose a threat to patient health or safety. Finally, this facility had no substantiated complaints this year from residents, which is an excellent sign.

Long-term Care Quality

This top notch nursing home also dominated in the area of long-term care, where we gave it a score of A+. Only a small group of facilities fared better in this area. Once we concluded our assessment of the amount of care provided by nurses, we then looked at the nursing home's vaccination record. Pneumonia sadly is often a life or death health condition for nursing home residents so we like it when a facility doesn't leave this to chance.
