On top of having quality nursing homes overall, this city really excelled in the area of inspections, where we gave it an A. Not many cities performed better in this area. We take several aspects of a facility's inspection report into consideration in computing these inspection scores. One critical factor is deficiencies. It should be noted that the severity of these deficiencies is arguably more meaningful than the quantity of deficiencies, as some end up being quite insignificant. In addition, we also awarded this city an A- in our long-term care category. In the last two categories, the city earned slightly below average grades in our nursing and short-term care areas.
