Nursing Homes in Trinity, Texas
With a population of 10,091 people, Trinity, Texas is a relatively small city. There are only 2 nursing homes in the city, which doesn't give you too many options to choose from. We gave the nursing homes here city grade of C, which isn't as high of a grade as we had hoped for. We also looked at the facilities in the nearby city of Conroe. While we not writing glowing reviews about either city, we found the nursing homes in Trinity to be slightly better. Looking at the individual nursing homes in the city, none of them really stood out. Nevertheless, we were still able to find one decent nursing home in the city.
While its overall grade was somewhat average, we awarded this city an A- for our inspections rating. Inspection scores account for several factors included in a nursing home's inspection reports. One of the most important criteria we rely on is the number and severity of deficiencies. Places with better scores in this category tend to have few severe deficiencies. Trinity earned its next highest grade in the area of long-term care, where we gave it a B-, which is also respectable. In the other categories we looked at, the city were awarded a grade of C in our short-term care category and a grade of D for nursing. Despite an otherwise decent profile, a nursing score of this caliber may be a bad sign for nursing staffing levels.
