Conway, South Carolina offers only three nursing homes to choose from, which is not a ton of options. The nursing homes here received a superb city grade of A-. Even with only a few nursing homes, this is still quite an achievement. For comparison's sake, we also assessed the nursing homes in the nearby city of Myrtle Beach, which has some decent nursing homes of its own. However, we found the facilities in Conway to be rated much higher than the ones in Myrtle Beach. The best part of Conway's strong profile is its nursing homes' short-term care grades. Short-term care grades are discussed in the following paragraph.
In addition to performing well in its overall grade, many of the facilities in Conway performed especially well in terms of its short-term care grade. Conway received one of our highest grades in that category with a grade of A-. Short-term care ratings this high are a favorable sign for the rehabilitation services at the nursing homes in this city. The city also really excelled in the category of inspections, where we gave it an A-. Few cities performed better in this category. Wrapping up its report card, this place were awarded a B+ for its long-term care score and a B+ in nursing. This place really did not have any weak links as far as we could tell.
