In the area of short-term care, we endeavor to evaluate measures of a facility's rehabilitation. We assess a facility's skilled nursing services, including the ones performed by registered nurses and various therapists. Fortunately, it appear that this facility has registered nurses on staff. Not every facility employs these skilled professionals. However, based on the data they provided, it does not look like the facility employs physical therapists. Finally, we considered the percentage of patients who were able to return to the community from this nursing home. We found that 6.2 percent of this facility's residents returned home.

The last category we assessed was nursing. In that area, we awarded this facility a favorable grade of B. We assessed the qualifications of nurses at the facility, in addition to the quantity of time those nurses worked with patients, in determining our grade in this category. This nursing home provides 0.4 hours of nursing care per resident per day. Lastly, we also looked at a few quality measures in determining our nursing grades.
