As a result, we gave it one of our highest scores in this category with a grade of A+. Our inspection grades weigh several factors included in a facility's inspection reports. One key criteria we consider is the quantity and severity of deficiencies. Nursing homes with better grades in this category generally have very few severe deficiencies. While this place had some deficiencies on its inspection report, none of them were major deficiencies based on CMS' deficiency scale. Long-term Care Quality
Another strength of this facility is its superb grade in long-term care. We gave it one of our more favorable grades in that category, with a grade of A-. On top of looking at the volume of care provided by nurses aids and other staff, we also looked at the percentage of residents vaccinated for pneumonia. This nursing home administered the vaccine to 97.397766 percent of its patients. Vaccines are critical to keeping residents healthy. Lastly, this facility was able to limit hospitalizations. This facility struggled quite a bit in this metric as well, with just 4.3 percent of its patients returning home.

Turning to our next area, this facility didn't fare very well. With a bottom of the barrel grade of F in nursing, this is its worst grade. Our nursing rating analyzes the facility's nurse staffing levels. We look at both the levels of training of the nurses and the number of hours spent with residents. This nursing home provides 0.3 hours of nursing care per resident per day. This is a much lower figure than we are used to seeing. To pair with its low totals in the area of nursing hours per resident, this nursing home also didn't fare as well in the quality-based measures we looked at in computing our nursing scores.
