In doing so, we assess a facility's scope of skilled nursing services, including both registered nurses and physical therapy, as well as respiratory therapy. We were surprised to find that this facility was below average in the two key staffing areas we assessed. The facility supplied fewer physical therapist and registered nurse hours per resident than most other nursing homes. Finally, we considered the number of residents who ultimately were able to return home from this facility. We found that 0 percent of this facility's patients were able to return home.
