One of the reasons this turned out to be a great nursing home is that it earned an A+ in short-term care. This is as good as it gets in this area. In determining our short-term care ratings, we analyze the facility's levels of highly skilled nursing services, which includes registered nurses, physical therapists speech therapists and other licensed professionals. This area is often a fair assessment of the facility's ability to rehabilitate patients. Fortunately, it appear that this facility employs registered nurses. Not all facilities employs these types of nurses. However, based on the data this nursing home provided, they do not appear to employ physical therapists. Lastly, we considered the number of residents that returned home from this facility. We found that 7.3 percent of this nursing home's patients were able to return home.

We also wanted to emphasize the fact that this facility excelled in our nursing rating. We awarded them an impressive grade of A+ in this category. Finally, we also looked at several nursing quality measures and this nursing home excelled in some of these areas.
