This score is often a useful assessment of a facility's rehabilitation services. Fortunately, it looks like this nursing home has registered nurses on staff. Not every nursing home employs these types of nurses. On the other hand, according to the information they provided, it does not look like the facility employs physical therapists. The last datapoint we considered in this area is the number of residents who were able to return home from the nursing home. Nursing homes that receive favorable grades in this category tend to have very few deficiencies on those reports. Most importantly, these places generally do not have any severe deficiencies which are associated with endangerment of patients. This particular nursing home received 8 deficiencies on its inspection report. Overall, this is still a good inspection report, but we'd always recommend looking into any deficiencies you find troubling.

Nurse Quality

This facility is also strong in the area of nursing, where it received a grade of B+. It outperformed most nursing homes in this category. This nursing home provides 0.5 hours of nursing care per resident per day. Finally, our nursing grades also factor in quality-based assessments, such as avoiding major falls. Major falls can typically be avoided if more nurses aids and better safety protocols are in place.

Long-term Care Quality

Grade: D

This facility's weakest category is long-term care, which is the final category we looked at. For this area, we gave this nursing home a grade of just D. For patients in need of a permanent place to live rather than skilled nursing, long-term care is a very important category. After assessing the amount of care provided by aids and other staff, we next considered the facility's vaccination record. This nursing home vaccinated 98.0198 percent of its patients for pneumonia, which is higher than the majority of nursing homes.
