We also wanted to emphasize that this nursing home has earned nearly flawless government inspections recently. We awarded them an A in this area. Our inspection ratings are based on datapoints located in the a nursing home's recent inspection reports. Facilities that excel in this category have very few deficiencies on their reports. Most importantly, these places should not have any severe deficiencies which are associated with endangerment of patients. This place was assessed 3 deficiencies on its inspection report, but we were relieved to see that none of the deficiencies were considered severe. Short-term Care Quality
Contributing to its strong resume, this nursing home also performed well in our short-term care area. In fact, it received a score of A- in that area. Short-term care grades are generally employed to measure a nursing home's performance with rehabilitation. In order to offer highly graded rehabilitation services, facilities generally must feature better levels of highly skilled nursing. These types of services include registered nurses, physical therapists, occupational therapists and other licensed professionals. Fortunately, it looks like this nursing home employs registered nurses. Not every nursing home employs these skilled professionals. On the other hand, according to the data this nursing home provided, they do not appear to employ physical therapists. The final datapoint we looked at in this category is the number of residents who were able to leave the facility and return to the community. We found that 5.4 percent of this facility's residents returned home.
