On top of receiving a strong overall score, this nursing home also earned top notch health inspections in recent years. We awarded them one of our better grades in this category, with an A+. Inspection ratings are tied to several datapoints located in the a nursing home's recent inspection reports. Facilities that excel in this category typically have few deficiencies on those reports. Most importantly, these facilities generally do not have any severe deficiencies which are associated with risks to patient safety. While this facility had a few deficiencies on its inspection report, none of them were serious based on CMS' scale. Finally, this facility had no substantiated complaints this year from residents, which is an excellent sign.

This facility performed well in the category of long-term care. Indeed, we gave it a score of A- for that area, which happens to be one of our most impressive grades. This figure was quite a bit below the national average.

This facility's worst area is nursing, which is the last category we looked at. In this category, we awarded this facility a D. When calculating our nursing grades, we factor in both the number of hours nurses spend with residents and the levels of licensure of the nurses. This place offered just 0.3 hours of nursing care per resident each day. This is a very low total compared to most nursing homes. While this place didn't excel in nursing hours, it surprised us in a few of the quality-based assessments in the nursing category, such as avoiding major falls. This place performed above average in this datapoint, which is one redeeming quality we found in this category.
