We weigh several aspects of a nursing home's inspection report in determining our inspection grades. One key factor is health deficiencies. You should keep in mind that the severity of these deficiencies is usually more meaningful than the number of deficiencies, as some end up being quite insignificant. We weren't able to find information about this nursing home's deficiencies. Finally, this facility had no substantiated complaints this year from residents, which is an excellent sign.

Short-term Care Quality

Grade: A-minus

This facility also was strong in the category of short-term care, where we awarded it a grade of A-. Not many nursing homes received a better grade in this category. Short-term care scores are based on a facility's quantity of highly-skilled highly skilled professionals. This includes a broad range of services, spanning from registered nurses to physical and speech therapists, as well as other variations of therapy. Unfortunately, we were not able to find registered nurse or physical therapy staffing data for this facility. Lastly, we assessed the percentage of patients who were able to return to the community from this nursing home. We found that 6 percent of this nursing home's patients returned home.

Nurse Quality

Grade: A-minus

In our last area, we gave this facility a grade of A+ for its nursing score. This finished off a first-rate report card. There are a variety of subcategories included in this area. Most of these factors relate to levels of nurse staffing. This nursing home provides 0.4 hours of nursing care per resident per day. Lastly, we also looked at a few quality-based metrics in determining our nursing grades. This place excelled in these areas, with excellent scores for minimizing its residents' major falls and pressure ulcers.
