Not all facilities employs these types of nurses. However, according to the data they provided, it does not look like the facility employs physical therapists. Lastly, we considered the number of patients who were able to return to the community from this facility. We found that 0 percent of this nursing home's patients returned home.

Long-term Care Quality

Grade: B

The next category we rated was long-term care, in which we awarded it a strong grade of B. This facility really didn't have any weak areas. For residents in need of a permanent place to live rather than skilled nursing, long-term care grades are very important. On top of looking at the amount of care provided by aids and other staff, we analyzed the percentage of residents vaccinated for pneumonia. This nursing home provided the vaccine to 85.416664 percent of its patients, which is a bit below what we expected. While its vaccination rate was a bit lower than we had hoped, at least this place was able to limit hospitalizations. In fact, it had only 0 hospitalizations per 1,000 long-term resident days, which is a remarkably low number.
