To go along with its strong overall grade, we awarded this nursing home a grade of A+ for our inspections rating. Our inspection grades are based on many datapoints located in the a nursing home's recent inspection reports. Nursing homes that excel in this area have very few deficiencies on their reports. Most importantly, these places should not have any severe deficiencies which are associated with endangerment of patients. We were not able to track down information on deficiency's for this nursing home. Finally, this facility had no substantiated complaints this year from residents, which is an excellent sign.

Grade: A

Lastly, this facility was able to limit hospitalizations. In fact, it had less than one hospitalization per 1,000 long-term resident days, which is an impressively low figure.

Grade: A

In our last area, we awarded this facility a grade of A+ for its short-term care rating. This topped off a very favorable report card. Short-term care grades are important for people seeking rehabilitation. Rehabilitation usually utilizes higher levels of highly-skilled nursing services. This means a broad spectrum of services, ranging from registered nurses to physical and respiratory therapists, as well as other variations of therapy. Fortunately, it looks like this nursing home employs registered nurses. Not all facilities employs these skilled professionals. However, according to the information they provided, it does not look like the facility employs physical therapists. The final item we assessed in this category is the number of patients who were able to leave the nursing home and return home. We discovered that 5.6 percent of this nursing home's patients returned home.
