Pneumonia sadly can be a deadly ailment for nursing home residents so we strongly prefer when a facility does not leave its residents vulnerable. Clearly, this nursing home is doing something right in this area as it also excelled at keeping its patients out of the hospital. It had only 0 hospitalizations per 1,000 long-term resident days, which is an impressively low figure.

The next most favorable category we awarded this nursing home in any area came in the area of short-term care, where we awarded it a grade of B-. Short-term care grades are vital for individuals in need of rehabilitation. Rehabilitation usually mandates more skilled nursing. This includes a vast spectrum of nursing services, spanning from registered nurses to physical and speech therapists, as well as other forms of therapy. It does not appear that this nursing home provided information on registered nurse or physical therapist staffing.
