Although we gave this facility a bad overall grade, we awarded it a fairly respectable grade in the category of inspections, where we gave it a grade of B-. This was certainly better than its other categories. These inspection ratings take several factors into consideration, including deficiencies and substantiated complaints. Although this place had some deficiencies on its report, none of them were major deficiencies based on CMS' scale. Finally, this facility was cited by CMS for possible abuse or neglect. We would not recommend this facility under any circumstance.
Nurse Quality
One of the other reasons we graded this facility so highly is that it received a very impressive nursing grade. This turned out to be its second best category grade. In that area, we awarded this nursing home an B-. When computing our nursing scores, we assess both staffing levels and the skill levels of those nurses. Based on the data, it looks like this place provides an impressive 5.9 hours of nursing care per patient daily. Out of this total, nearly one fourth of these hours were provided by registered nurses, which are one of the more highly trained levels of nurses. Lastly, we also considered some quality-based metrics. This nursing home scored well in a few of the quality measures we looked at. In terms of the percentage of its patients suffering from pressure ulcers, this facility performed better than the national average.

This facility's third best area turned out to be its short-term care grade, where it received a B-. In our short-term care rating, we endeavor to forge a sound gauge for rehabilitation.
