In addition to receiving a great overall score, this facility performed even better in the area of inspections which is based on the nursing home's recent government inspection reports. In fact, we gave it an A for this category, which is one of our best grades. Arguably the most significant factor we look at in computing our inspection scores is deficiencies. When facilities receive this type of score in this category it is typically a good sign for resident care and suggests that the nursing home is well-staffed with nurses aids. Once we assessed the volume of care provided by nurses and other staff, we next considered the facility's vaccination records. This nursing home vaccinated 97.55102 percent of its residents for pneumonia. Vaccines are vital to keeping residents out of the hospital. Lastly, this nursing home was able to limit hospitalizations. Indeed, it had less than one hospitalization per 1,000 long-term resident days, which is an impressively low figure.

Switching gears to the fourth category, this facility was awarded a B- in short-term care, which is generally a respectable rating. In crafting our short-term care scores, we assess the nursing home's skilled nursing services, such as those performed by registered nurses, speech therapists, physical therapists and other types of therapists.
