Registered Staff Hours
Short-term Care Quality
Although we gave this facility a terrible overall grade, we awarded it a grade of C for our short-term care rating. Our short-term care grades are based in part on the nursing home's quantity of highly-skilled skilled healthcare professionals. This means a vast range of services, spanning from registered nurses to physical and speech therapists, in addition to other variations of therapy. This nursing home provides more services with physical therapists and registered nurses than most nursing homes we looked at. This is usually a favorable sign. The last datapoint we considered in this area is the percentage of patients who were able to leave the nursing home and return to the community. We discovered that just 0 percent of this facility's residents were able to return home, which is below average.
Facility Inspections
Interestingly, this facility's awful overall grade can't really be attributed to its government inspection reports. We awarded it a C for inspections. Inspection ratings are tied to pieces of information found on the a nursing home's recent inspection reports. Deficiencies are an important thing to look for on these reports. Severe deficiencies indicate a risk to patient safety. This nursing home was hit with 6 deficiencies on its government inspection report, but fortunately none were in categories G through L. This indicates that the government inspectors did not consider any of the deficiencies to present an imminent danger to resident safety or health. Lastly, we would like to point out that this place has received government fines recently. Fortunately these were not on the high end as government fines go. That said, this isn't what you hoped to see.

Long-term Care Quality
We awarded this nursing home just a D for our long-term care score. This is not a score to write home about. If you are looking for services other than short-term rehabilitation, you should take a close look at long-term care ratings. After assessing the quantity of care provided by nurses aids and other staff, we turned to the facility's vaccination statistics. We were pleased to learn that this nursing home vaccinated 100 percent of its residents against pneumonia. Surprisingly, this place was able to limit hospitalizations. With just 0.03 hospitalizations per one thousand long-term resident days, this facility had fewer hospitalizations than most nursing homes. Sadly, some of its other scores in this category weren't as favorable as these.
Nurse Quality
The next category we assessed was nursing. This nursing home received an abysmal grade of F in this category. Our nursing rating analyzes quite a few components, however, the most important one is the number of nurse hours per patient per week. This place averaged a meager 0.3 hours of nursing care per patient on a daily basis. Unfortunately, this place also had abysmal scores in some of the quality-based metrics to pair with its low nursing hours. We looked at the percent of patients suffering pressure ulcers and we were quite disappointed. This place was at approximately 1.5 times the national average in this area.
