While we graded this place incredibly poorly overall, it actually earned a fairly impressive government inspection report this year. As a result, it earned one of our more favorable grades in that category with a B+. Arguably the most important factor we look at in determining our inspection scores is deficiencies. These deficiencies are found on a facility's recent inspection reports. It is typically best to avoid nursing homes that have a long list of deficiencies. This place was assessed 5 deficiencies on its inspection report, but none of the deficiencies were considered severe. This indicates that the inspectors didn't consider any of the deficiencies to create an immediate threat to resident safety or health. A couple minor deficiencies are not the end of the world.

Sadly, this facility only earned a grade of D for its short-term care rating, which ended up being one of its better category scores. Our short-term care ratings are based in part on the nursing home's quantity of skilled skilled healthcare professionals. This includes a vast range of nursing services, spanning from registered nurses to physical and speech therapists, as well as other forms of therapy. Turning to our last category, this facility really did not perform very well in this area either. Due to an abysmal grade of F in nursing, this is just about as bad as it gets. This is a bad sign when you consider that so many bed sores are believed to be preventable with better nursing care. This statistic really pulled down this nursing home's nursing rating significantly.
