There are two nursing homes in Post Falls, Idaho, so at least you have a few choices. We awarded this relatively small group of nursing homes a city grade of B, which is a very solid grade. In fact, this place's city grade slightly better than the city grade of facilities in the nearby city of Spokane. This place's strong report card was highlighted by its nursing homes' long-term care scores, which we will address in the next paragraph.
As mentioned above, this city received a great overall grade, but we also wanted to point out that we awarded Post Falls an elite grade of A+ in the category of long-term care. For long-term care residents, the facility's primary goal is to keep patients as healthy and safe as possible. This is different than skilled nursing or short-term care where the goal is to rehabilitate residents. We also wanted to point out that we awarded the city a grade of A in our short-term care rating. In our final two categories, we awarded the city a grade of B for its nursing grade and a C in inspections.
