On top of being an excellent nursing home overall, this city's nursing home really excelled in the area of short-term care, where it received a grade of A. Few places earned a better grade in this area. In computing our short-term care ratings, we assess the facility's skilled nursing services, such as those performed by registered nurses, respiratory therapists, physical therapists and other types of therapists. Our goal is to devise a measure for comparing the rehabilitation services of different facilities. This place also performed extremely well in our inspection category, where it received an A. In the other categories we looked at, this place earned slightly below average grades in our nursing and long-term care categories.
