To go along with its strong overall grade, we awarded this nursing home a grade of A for our long-term care rating. If you are looking for anything other than rehabilitation, you should take a close look at each nursing home's long-term care scores. In addition to assessing the quantity of care provided by nurses aids and other staff, we also looked at the percentage of residents vaccinated against pneumonia. This nursing home gave the vaccine to 62.4 percent of its patients, which is a few points below what we expected. Clearly, this facility is doing something right in this area as it also excelled at keeping its residents out of the hospital.
