Moving on to another of this facility's strengths, it also received a very impressive inspection rating. This proved to be one of its best grades. In that category, we gave this nursing home an impressive grade of B+. Our inspection grades are tied to datapoints found on the a nursing home's recent inspection reports. Facilities that excel in this area typically have few deficiencies on those reports. Most importantly, these facilities should not have any severe deficiencies which are associated with endangerment of patients. Although this facility had a few deficiencies on its inspection report, none of them were major deficiencies based on CMS' scale. We should point out that deficiency-free inspection reports are rare in the industry.

When facilities receive this kind of score in long-term care it is usually a good sign for patient care and indicates that the place is well-staffed with nurses aids. After considering the volume of care provided by nurses, we next considered the nursing home's vaccination statistics. This facility vaccinated 95.652176 percent of its patients for pneumonia, which is very impressive. Pneumonia is too frequently a deadly condition for nursing home residents so we prefer when a nursing home doesn't leave its residents vulnerable. Clearly, this place is doing something right in this area as it also excelled at keeping its patients out of the hospital. Indeed, it had only 0.03 hospitalizations per one thousand long-term resident days, which is a remarkably low figure.
