Facility Inspections

Grade: A-plus

In addition to being an elite facility overall, this facility also excelled in our inspections category, where it received an A+. Very few places fared as well in this category. Our inspection ratings are based on several pieces of information found on the a nursing home's recent inspection reports. Facilities that excel in this area have very few deficiencies on those reports. Most importantly, these places generally do not have any severe deficiencies which are associated with risks to patient safety. This particular nursing home had just a single deficiency on its inspection report and it was not one deemed to pose a threat to patient health or safety. Finally, this facility had no substantiated complaints this year from residents, which is an excellent sign.

Long-term Care Quality

We also would like to point out the fact that this facility received a top-shelf grade of A in our long-term care category. If you are looking for services other than rehabilitation, you should take a close look at long-term care grades. After looking at the amount of care provided by nurses aids and other staff, we turned to the facility's vaccination records. This facility vaccinated 93.75 percent of its patients against pneumonia, which is somewhat lower than we expected but still a decent percentage. Finally, this facility was able to limit hospitalizations. Indeed, it had less than one hospitalization per one thousand long-term resident days, which is a remarkably low figure.
