The final category we looked at was long-term care, where this facility was given an A-. This topped off a very impressive report card. Very few nursing homes received an A- or better in every single category. Facilities that receive this type of score in this category tend to provide consistent 24/7 care to make sure patients are kept in good health. Once we finished looking at the quantity of nursing care, we next considered the facility's vaccination data. Pneumonia is too frequently a deadly illness for nursing home patients so we like it when a facility does not roll the dice on this issue. Lastly, this facility was able to limit hospitalizations.
