This nursing home also was awarded an A+ long-term care grade, rendering it one of the few facilities to be given multiple A+ category grades. Nursing homes that do well in this category typically are well-staffed and provide extensive hands on care to residents. One of the datapoints we considered on top of nurse's aid hours is vaccines. This facility administered the pneumonia vaccination to 95.29412 percent of its patients. This is a great way to minimize unnecessary hospitalizations for the aged 65 and up population. Lastly, this facility was able to limit hospitalizations. Indeed, it had less than one hospitalization per one thousand long-term resident days, which is an impressively low number.
