One of the many reasons this turned out to be a great nursing home is that it received an A+ long-term care grade. This is simply as good as it gets in this category. Nursing homes that receive this type of grade in this category typically provide consistent around the clock care to ensure residents are well cared for. On top of looking at the volume of care provided by nurses aids and other staff, we also looked at the percentage of residents vaccinated for pneumonia. This nursing home gave the vaccine to 100 percent of its residents, which is an impressive figure. Pneumonia is too frequently a dangerous health condition for nursing home residents so we strongly prefer when a facility doesn't take any chances.
